Your cart is empty.Uniseal is simply the world's best seal. It is also incredibly easy to install. After cutting a hole in the wall of a tank or other surface, the seal is inserted. Then the pipe is coated with a slippery detergent (i.e. dish soap) and pushed into the seal. Uniseal products replace traditional plumbing hardware with a single injection molded unit requiring no component parts. It was designed to solve many of the issues of pipe to tank connections. For many industries pipe to tank seals are traditionally among the most complex connections to manufacture. Traditional seals require multiple parts such as, rigid flanges, bolts, washers, o-rings, along with long assembly times and high production costs. The Du Pont Alcryn is the key to the liquid-tight seal. When the pipe is pushed through the rubber-like Uniseal from the outside, the inside Alcryn wall becomes thin enough to allow the pipe to squeeze through and then forms a liquid-tight seal. The coefficient of friction with the plastic pipe is roughly three times higher than any other material which allows it to create a better seal than with any other material. In static conditions the seal is good up to 65 PSI. Uniseal can withstand pressure, and suction, acids, oils, greases, gasoline, sewage, waste, heat and cold. It offers long life, easy installation and reduced labor and material costs.

When you use buckets holding waterand add a pipe for in or out water these are the best bulkhead fittings I've ever used. You should.

We built a filter for our little pond. It works well. It was difficult to figure out how to push the pvc pipe in but we figured it out. My husband and I have lost strength over the years. But he got the bright idea to use a bar clamp to push the pvc pipe through the uniseal. It worked great!

Works perfect! I have it on a heavy duty plastic trashcan that is my pond filter. Both 1/2" and 3/4" uniseals. Snug fit (be sure to round off tip of pipe that you press into uniseal and I little water for lubrication.) No leaks.

These things are great and work on curved surfaces--never had one leak yet. For the larger ones, get a rough file and bevel the edge of the pipe A LOT and back about 3/4 inch. Smear silicone inside the uniseal. Use a tee on the end of the pipe to have something to push with. I use these on containers for pond filters and on fish tanks. Also created filters from flower pots and aerial bucket liners using these. Also worked on a preformed pond, old swimming pool sand filter (on the curved part) and one of those filter falls. I have had bulk head fittings leak but never a uniseal.
