Installation definitely requires more effort than typical hood latch pins but the quality is nice and so far so good.

If you take your time, work slowly these come out looking amazing and professional. Plan out your positioning so you don't have to flex the hood but at a minimum.

Great product!! Take your time to install them because you do have to cut into your hood, but if you take your time it's easy!! Best looking hood locking system I have found. I used them on my old truck who hood did not lock. Now I don't have to worry about it anymore

These are the real deal. Be very careful to only buy genuine aerocatch latches, I've seen a few catastrophic accidents caused by knockoff latches. I should have ordered the ones that mount on the top side of the hood but these are of the same excellent quality (just very difficult to mount correctly since the hole needs to be perfect). Also be careful to mount these in a relatively flat area on the hood so they don't flex too much when you bolt them down.

Came quick and in the orignal packed in a padded envolope they are badass they are going on my street car that im running a custom turbo set up and tucking the radiator so i can not have a hood latch so i am goin to use these instead

This product is good. You MUST find experienced installer for the "flush" version since there is no lip covering the hole. I also installed it on a very rare hood so I took extra precautions to protect the material at the exposed cutting area. I got locking to keep it safe. If you want to make it easier get " flush plus" if you want minimal do it right with these.
