As an extended reach adapter it works exactly as it should. Weight is no problem. It holds tight. Seems to be built well enough to hold up for an extended time with its natural minimal use.My only issue with this extension is personal. It is a little cumbersome to install unless you have a table for your cue to safely lie on. Upon installation, The extension doesn't always hold quite tight enough to the cue to allow twisting the adjuster with one hand. So in order to hold the extender with 2 hands to tighten it you have the full length and weight of your cue, waving around in the air. Pivoting off of 1 foot of grip area. I have become so paranoid about dropping my primary cue while installing the extender that I now pre-install it onto a cheaper $200 McDermott stick before the night begins.I would recommend this tool. It grips tight. Holds well. Adds a foot of reach and performs as advertised.
