Hard to install on a 5.3l engine, not the parts fault.

The installation of the product was not easy. The product did not fit in my 2011. The product looks similar to my old one but was not. The screen seemed cheaper and I have a feeling it wouldn't function well even it it fit. Plastic looks cheap as well would not buy again.

This product works and the price was right as well. I would recommend this product.

The oil pressure in my Silverado would fluctuate from 0psi to 50psi or so, then sit at 0psi or be pegged at the other end of the spectrum. I put this new sensor and screen in and it fixed the problem. Sitting pretty at 40psi. Definitely buy the socket. 1 1/16" oil sensor socket fits perfectly all other standard sockets run the risk of stripping it. And then you are screwed. Took me about an hour to change it. After 2 days of driving all is good.. we'll see in a month.

It fixed the problem saving me hundreds of dollars. The replacement is not very easy, but it is doable.

I recently purchased the Engine Oil Pressure Sensor Switch Sending Unit, and I am delighted to say that although a bit of a pain, it only took about 30 minutes to install on my 2012 Suburban.Granted it's only been installed for about a month now, but the durability and reliability of this product seem sufficient. The shop wanted to pull the heads, charge $300, and keep my car for a few days, but I found videos on youtube that walked me through how to change the part without taking a bunch of the engine apart.Very happy. Thanks!

Part was a perfect fit and the guage works now. Initially I thought it was not working but after I hooked up my diagnostic scanner and erased the code, the pressure was working again. Now the installation is another story. You need a few tools, a mechanical aptitude and a few strategically placed cuss words. Unhook the evaporator purge line and the brake vacuum hose. May as well go ahead and climb in the engine compartment.
