This dual-pack of 12dBi antennas effectively boosts 4G LTE and 5G signals, but users should understand that maximizing their potential requires more than simple installation. Unlike Wi-Fi routers, these antennas necessitate knowledge of nearby cell tower locations and signal strength testing to achieve optimal performance. For most users, the router's built-in antennas will suffice, but for those with weak signals, these can be a valuable asset. However, proper placement, often guided by online resources like YouTube or Google, is crucial for effective signal enhancement. This product is best suited for tech-savvy individuals willing to invest time in optimizing their setup.

More like 6db according to my device. A different 3db antenna provided that, so performance claims appear to be a bit optimistic.

Does a better job then the lesser model the company sells and my son who lives in rural America did see signal strength improve and thus speed. However we must keep the whole idea in perspective as this is not going to be like fiber internet which most of us are used too, However, for rural when you need a signal boost they come in handy., I wish they had male connectors as well as we had to make a connector to add to the router.. Also a longer cord could come in handy but may affect the signal strength.

This is a pretty decent little ;setup for a cradle point style device, If you are in a sub urban, or city area you will have no trouble with these, I initially picked these up for my family who lives out in the county and didn't have much success compared to the base antenna in the device but if you are in an area with decent coverage it will take you from "ok" speeds to "good" speeds

Easy to connect. Increase signal strength by a bar. Great magnet base. Great value for the price.

Test environment: Netgear MR6500 with the latest chipset and 5G on AT&T. I placed the antennas about 2' apart, ideally on a metal surface for the ground plane. I tested both with and without antennas in various locations. In every case, the signal strength improved. It might not seem like a drastic change, but every 3 dB represents double the power. So, if you're in a fringe area, this could help you reach the usable zone. The speeds were comparable, but with cellular, it’s always challenging to get consistent results.I was pleasantly surprised to find a nice case included when I opened the package. The cable length lets you position the antennas higher and in more open spots for better signal reception. These are affordable enough to keep on hand for that extra edge.

I use a wifi hotspot for my internet. Being in a rural area, there aren't many options, but the signal strength is not always very good. I average 1-2 bars of signal usually. Using these antennas can boost the signal up to 2-3 bars, which can have a dramatic difference. It may not seem like much, but it enables me to do uninterrupted streaming, which can sometimes be difficult on my connection. I placed these antennas close to a window for the best signal coverage and they work great. Each antenna attaches with a magnetic base. I looked it up and found that some recommend placing the antennas at 90 degrees away from each other. That seemed to work well for me, although I do experiment with different placements. They connect with TS9 connectors, which fit my wifi device perfectly. The connections stay put, unlike some which are too loose and fall out easily. The antennas themselves seem solidly built and will last a while. The bases stay put with their strong magnetic connection. You get a 10-foot cable for each, which gives options for placement. They work great with my 8800L wifi.

The 12dBi External 4G LTE/5G Antenna is a powerful and practical solution for enhancing your mobile internet connection. Right out of the box, the antennas feel well-built, and the 6.5-foot cable length provides enough flexibility to position them optimally for signal reception. The magnetic base is sturdy and makes installation on metallic surfaces simple and secure. The standout feature is the 12dBi gain, which noticeably improves signal strength and stability, even in areas with weaker reception. Testing it with a compatible Netgear Nighthawk MR5200 and Verizon Jetpack showed significant improvements in download and upload speeds, making it ideal for streaming, gaming, or remote work.Compatibility is another major highlight. With its TS9 connectors, this antenna works seamlessly with a wide range of 4G LTE/5G routers and mobile hotspots from brands like Netgear, Huawei, and ZTE. The omnidirectional design ensures consistent performance without requiring precise alignment, which is convenient for users who move their hotspots frequently. The only potential downside is that it’s designed specifically for TS9 connections, so users with other connector types will need an adapter. Additionally, while the antennas enhance signal strength, the results depend on your location and network conditions.Overall, this antenna set is perfect for anyone seeking better connectivity for their 4G LTE/5G devices, whether at home, in the office, or on the go. It’s especially valuable for those relying on hotspots for stable internet in areas with less-than-ideal coverage.
