My project was more shiny before I used these pads. They don’t attach to a polisher sander, so I used a drill with polishing compound. These pads left major swirl marks, I will have to re sand and polish with a different product.

I got this set for one task and one task only - removing a long scratch on my SUV after a weekend camping and rubbing up against brush. I ended up only using the white, blue, and yellow textured pads along with some Meguiar's medium cut polishing compound to buff out the panels. These worked FANTASTIC - just start out slow and make sure the pads are damp. Once the compound worked into the pads, I stepped up speed and the scratch was slowly polished away. I followed up with a ceramic seal.These pads are totally worth the price and met my expectations. It's a great deal for all the pads you get, so don't waste time looking for another set - this is the one you want!
