It seems like all the car accessories you can buy today have bright LEDs or flashing whizbang graphics. I was looking for a retro looking part for a 50-year-old MG midget. This fit the bill perfectly. The ports seemed tight without binding, and the charger itself seems to work as good as any other charger. I have a fair number of old style USB plugs as well as some more modern electronics that charge off a USB-C plug. This charger allows me compatibility with both. I’ll be buying more.

I ordered these to replace the usual cigarette lighter socket style in my camper. It’s an older model so it is even more awkward to use as it is located inside the fold down ashtray. For my purposes I am building a centre console that these will fit into but I plan to order more for my car and my partners’s so I can directly replace into the hole the cigarette lighter socket was mounted to, so it can be a much more straightforward fit in this instance. These are much easier to use with the outlets firmly bolted into place instead of the loose fit of an adapter in a cigarette lighter outlet. It also looks neater and is less cluttered. I like these a lot - recommended.

This works great to replace the cigarette lighter in a DeLorean. Fits flush to the console and connects easily to the original existing + & - wires.

These USB outlets have a solid metal housing and a good heft to them, it seems unlikely there will be any mechanical issues with them.The installation is very simple - drill, pop through, thread nut tight and then a simple two wire connection.The type A and type C sockets provide the advertised 24 watts of charging power (it would seem),Ignore the nonsense in the listing about 5V/9V/12V output - these are regular USB 5 volt DC outputs.The input voltage is supposedly variable from 10 to 28 volts DC but I only tested with standard automotive 13.5 volt input and it worked perfectly.I wish the units had some small status LED to show they were operating, and possibly the wires could be an inch or two longer to offer a little more flexibility for installation without an additional splice.They are also possibly a touch expensive for what they are, but the quality is good.

These are great little mini usb+ usbc outlets to install in a car, boat, rc, pretty much anywhere that has a 12vdc supply.Very easy to install, they’re low profile which is great because there’s not alot of room behind the dash in my car.It charges my phones and devices fine but the usbc does not have fast charge, in other words it will charge my iPad but very slowly. I’m assuming it puts out the standard 5v 3A. That said I don’t think there is anything this small available that can actually fast charge.Overall this is a great way to add usb sockets to your car.

Nice two pack of charging ports. Used one on an RV outside kitchen and another on a golf cart. Simple 12 volt wiring (red to battery positive and black to battery negative). Clean finish once installed and easy install with adjustable wrench. Solid build.

I brought these to be used in a diy AVR/console TV stand and possibly a matching coffee table or side table I plan to build.I'm highly impressed by these little outlet hubs.They are the absolute perfect size imo, basically a cigarette outlet size or loonie sized for reference.Vary Sleek, low profile and inconspicuous these little outlets are vary versatile and could be placed almost anywhere you could think of and they'd look really good and professional.Boats, vehicles, furniture, other electrics the placement possibilities are endless with these little outlets.These are honestly much nicer and higher quality feeling hub outlets then ive seen in most vehicles...They look and feel as high quality as it gets with there full aluminum construction and have a surprisingly decent amount of weight to them for the size.The cord ends seem secure and well connected.Super happy and impressed by these outlets, will certainly be buying more in the future for other diy projects. These would make for a really cool gift idea to give to family or friends that are diy'er types.If you're looking for a high quality and good looking usb outlet hub, look no further these are it!The only thing they could maybe do differently is offer a rubber cover cap attachment that could be slipped onto the outlet or a 2nd version with a rubber cover cap.A rubber dust/splash cap isn't needed for my specific purposes but for certain applications a cover would certainly be a nice feature.I could see it as being a deal breaker or limiting factor to some folks and these are such good looking and well built outlet hubs, a rubber cover attachment or 2nd version with a cover would only increase the versatile of these awesome outlets, so should be something they consider releasing in the future.

These are very well made USB outlets. Unlike 99% of the others that i've found, these are the most compact and ideal for a direct replacement for a cigarette lighter hole. All of the previous ones that i ordered were just too big for a retrofit without some modification but these just dropped right in. Charge power is good and it looks nice too with a solid anodized aluminum body. The only con that I have is that i wish they came with a fuse holder but it's not a deal breaker. Overall, excellent little USB outlet.
