These were incredibly well packaged, and thus arrived undamaged. Calling them wood is misleading, though: they are pressboard/particle board with a wood-grain print. Close up, it is sort of 'pixelated' and obvious that it is not actual wood grain. However, from a normal viewing distance, they look fine, and the corners are all tidy and well fit. The price seems a tad high for not being actual wood, but they do have actual glass unlike the thin acrylic most frames have these days, so it sort of evens out.

While the rabbet depth was initially slightly shallower than I ideally needed for my specific project (a Wizard of Oz themed gallery wall, no less!), this proved to be a minor hurdle easily overcome with the use of offset screws to make up for the thickness of the custom mats. The adjustment was simple and didn't detract from the overall quality.Frankly, the frames are stunning. Even without the minor modification, they would be exceptional for standard prints and posters. Their classy design and perfect matching set immediately elevated the aesthetic of my wall. The packaging was also first-rate, ensuring the frames and glass arrived in perfect condition. The robustness of both the frames and glass is impressive; they feel exceptionally durable and well-made.Overall, this was a truly fantastic purchase. The frames have exceeded my expectations in terms of quality, style, and the overall presentation. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these frames to others.

These are quality and super expensive looking frames, people will think you paid for one, what you did for 4! Or even more! 🤑The wood is finished with a beautiful mat like finish, but not painted like a metal frame. You can see the grain of the wood on these but the black isn't see through. The corners fit together pretty near perfect, better than most I've seen. And they look like they were put together to last, and not to pull apart.The back is extremely nice. It's a shame no one sees that part. The hangers are so nice with like teeth shaped on the inside to hold your picture straight even if the weight of the picture is a tad off. There is a hanger so you can hang it either horizontally or vertically.The swivel holders are so easy to open and close, unlike the metal pieces that you need to pry up to get stuff in and press down to get it to hold. You can only do that so many times before they just break off. These are like tiny clock hands that you move either way to unlock the back. So cool! And easy!I have to say the glass is great too. There is very little glare, it's super clear. Doesn't give your pictures a strange cast of color, and the edges though not beveled, are not so sharp that I was afraid I would cut my hand.It also comes with a couple different pieces to add to the back if needed so your picture is secure and fit in the frame and don't move at all. Realistically people, how many photos do you get that are cut perfectly to fit in the frame? I can't say I've ever gotten one I didn't have to trim or that was slightly shorter on one side. This makes sure the way you lay it in is the way it will stay.Awesome frames, I can't believe I got 4! I've used 2 already, oh and they can stand up on a table too!I sincerely recommend these frames.
