This timer is an update to the old mechanical timers that were never accurate and failed regularly. This sleek, white timer plugs in to a 3-prong outlet and when you plug an appliance or light into it, you can either activate the very accurate timer or bypass it with the switch on the side. Set it to timer mode when you want it to turn on and you are all set. Simple and effective - well done!

This has worked well for my usage of controlling the state of charge of a power station that uses lithium NMC battery technology. It allows me to control the time the portable power station charges for and this prevents it from sitting at 100% for too long.NMC batteries stored at 100% state of charge significantly decrease the capacity and duty cycle of the battery.I will update if I have any issues with this outlet timer

Just wat I was looking for. I simple, easy to set timer to limit the charge on my Ebike batteries.I had bought a digital BN timer, that was finicky and over complicated for the task. Also purchased a wifi unit that required reconfiguring my wifi router to 2.4 hertz only//..This one just set the dial from 15 minutes to 12 hours and forget it.

I guess I thought this timer would reset every day, but I should have known a 13-hour timer would not work every day at the same time. I don't know what I was thinking when I ordered this. It works, but I thought it would work differently.

I was fed up with the constant finicky behavior of my digital timer for my red light therapy lamp. I usually use it before bed and fall asleep. Sometimes I want an hour, sometimes longer. The problem with digital timers is that they take way too long to make a simple adjustment. This made it so simple and easy. I will say it is somewhat odd that you start with a long time then work your way to a shorter and shorter time. So you wind it nearly all the way if you just want 15 minutes. But that is just how this one works, a little bit different than say a kitchen timer. Nothing but love so far and my lamp uses about 250 watts and this does not heat up at all.

This timer worked exactly thow I expected. Plug it into the outlet plug in whatever you want like Christmas lites. Set the timer up to 13 hrs . Walk away. The timer ticks down until it gets to zero and cuts the power off. Worked every time. Only thing I don't care for is the shape of the device . It's so large you cannot use the other plug next to it as is suggested in the advertisement photo.

This is a timer. You plug something into it and set the amount of time you’d like it to run and it automatically turns it off. Unfortunately it’s not what I needed. I’m not sure what I was thinking. I would like a timer but not one that you’d have to set every time. I guess I thought it was like my outdoor timer I use for my Christmas lights. I set that from dusk to dawn and it’s set for as long as I have something plugged into it. I was hoping to plug my nightstand light into it so it automatically turns on when the time changes. But for anyone else that reads the description lol, it should work just fine.
