Its functional but the crappy case makes it a hazard to transport. Good for basic biology courses but you may want to invest in something more pricey if you dont like stabbing yourself everytime you open your backpack.

I purchased this kit for med school and I have not used it so far but all the pieces were as described and it was delivered on time. Will recommend to friends to purchase.
