Genuine Sheepskin
Smells like a light sheepskin smell. Because They are packed in sealed bags for transportation. If you grasp a little wool, and burn it. It's not easy to burn and easy to put out when the fire leaves, it smelled like burned human hair. When you pinch it, it turns into powder. It's real wool!
Faux Fur
Normally it is made of acrylic fibres and easy to burn. After burning, there are hard lumps. Skin is not real skin, it is multi-layer material sticking together.

I'll start by addressing some complaints from other reviewers: These seatbelt covers DO fit a standard seatbelt just fine, IF YOU INSTALL THEM CORRECTLY. There are clear directions in the product photos! You just need to lift the flap of the hook side of the velcro and slide the seatbelt under it, THEN fold the cover over, align the loop side with the hook side, and press them together. It can be a little tricky to do this without getting any of the fur caught in the velcro, but it's not terribly hard. Don't blame a good product for an issue of user error! Also, these are definitely genuine sheepskin - you can tell by looking at and feeling the back, which is obviously natural sheepskin leather, and/or by clipping a little of the wool and burning it.That said, these seatbelt covers are soft, very fluffy and plush, and very nice looking. These long-wool ones worked better for me than the shearling - the covers themselves are about 3-4" longer, and the long fur covers the side edges so they don't ruin the look.The Peacock Blue color is a beautiful shade of medium teal blue, and it looks great next to the Alpine Green shearling from the same company. The vacuum-packing did squash the wool, but a gentle combing with a wide-spaced comb made it look and feel great, and removed the small amount of shedding hairs.These may end up being too warm to use in hot weather, but we'll see in a few months. For now, they're great!

I love it!!! Just as pictured, I get tons of compliments. It's lightweight and fluffy. It does take on the smell of your perfume so beware.

I bought this seatbelt cover for comfort. My seat belt strap in my car cuts into my neck while wearing the belt so I needed something to cushion my neck. This does that well. I also like the fluffiness of the cover because it’s kinda like petting a fluffy puppy while driving. And since I keep the air conditioner on full blast sometimes I get a little cold and I tuck my arm under the cover and it instantly comforts me and warms me up but isn’t hot at all… I give it 5 stars because I was not disappointed at all.
