This telescopic pole (SKGPOLE 1-3FT Telescopic Extension Pole, Multi-Purpose Extension Pole with Universal Twist-on Metal Tip, Sturdy Aluminum Paint Roller Extension Pole for House) is more compact than I was expecting. Retracted, it measures 17" and about 1.5" diameter. Extended, it goes out to 38" tip to tip. It's very lightweight at only 280g or just shy of 10oz in weight. The levers to unlock for extension is easy to open and close and the extension glides smoothly both in and out. The foam handle adds comfort and grip but it is thin and mine came with some indentation from shipping. Perhaps it will reform in time but it doesn't take away from its function. The threading on the end is good and I was able to screw different ends onto it. An added 3 ft is adequate for most applications but can't reach my 10ft ceilings, I have to break out my longer extension pole for changing the light bulbs.Overall, this is a great item that will be handy to have around the house. I like it and I'm glad I was able to get it to try out.

only one thing I would change -- the type of foam that is at the bottom of the pole seems to be the same as some of the garden tools that I have -- typically the foam covering is the first thing to go -- I think it should be shrink wrapped with a rubberised sleeve -- no stars off because the pole is made well and is exactly what it is supposed to be -- the extensions slide out with a groove in the shafts to keep them indexed properly -- the locking clamps are made to last as is the screw tip on the business end of the pole -- I'm about to start a Walk-in-Closet makeover with 10' ceilings --this will surely make the painting easier and lets me leave the ladder in the garage -- this is replacing an older pole with twist locks that always seem to unlock at the worst times -- I am happy to have this pole

The description of this item was clear, in that I would be getting a 1’ pole that would extend to 3’. And that’s what it does. It has universal threads on the end, and my paint roller screwed right onto it. It also feels a little heavier and sturdier than a different pole I have tried, so I like this one better. It is actually a good value for the money, as long as it holds up.Five stars.

Very easy to adjust the height.All metal front twisting head part where is the part that breaks most easily.This pole will last me forever.Not only fits the paint roller, but also my broom and my floor squeegee.Very well made and really sturdy.

This is a very nice quality paint roller pole. It can extend up to 3 feet and you can lock it in at 1 foot also, so it is adjustable. it is very sturdy and I am very happy with it.
