About this item

  • YOUR CHOICE OF HAND: This GX-7 Golf Club is for the Right Handed. Choose the hand that matches the other clubs in your set. If you play Left-handed irons, for example, choose left hand. MORE CONTROL & ACCURACY THAN TRADITIONAL DRIVER: The GX-7’s shorter length, smaller clubhead & iron-like leading edge allow you to swing it more like an iron & still hit long off the tee; Long-shafted drivers with big clubheads require more precise swings, perfect timing & are less forgiving on miss-hits
  • CUSTOM DESIGNED FOR MID- TO HIGH-HANDICAP GOLFERS: Hot stainless steel face and perfectly-matched custom shaft deliver superior distance, optimum launch angle and ideal spin for golfers with slower swing speeds; Trackman data says typical golfer misses out on 30 yards off the tee; Get more carry and more roll with the GX-7; Perfect for any golfer who cannot hit his driver as far as he once could.
  • FIVE CUSTOM SHAFT FLEXES: Stiff, Regular, Senior, Senior plus, and Ladies; Choose your shaft flex based on your swing speed; Higher speed = stiff; Slower speed = senior plus; All shafts designed exclusively for the GX-7 to optimize launch angle, spin rate and ball speed for regular golfers; Hit longer and straighter with less effort.
  • LEGAL FOR TOURNAMENT PLAY: Conforms to the rules of golf; Save strokes without breaking any rules. Includes head cover.
  • 1-YEAR MANUFACTURER WARRANTY AGAINST DEFECTS: High-quality construction backed by unbeatable warranty.

What Is the GX-7?

Maximize distance and accuracy

A New Kind of Club

The GX-7 is a new kind of club – a driver replacement specifically designed to deliver superior results for golfers with less-than-perfect swings. With the GX-7, you get the average distance of a high-performance driver and the accuracy of a fairway wood... all using your easy 7-iron swing. It is easier to control than a regular driver and for most golfers who try it, much more accurate too.

What Makes the GX-7 So Easy to Hit?

Today’s stock driver is 45.5” long, with about 10° of loft and a 460cc clubhead. That’s too much length, too little loft and more head volume than is good for the typical weekend golfer. By contrast, the GX-7 measures 43”, with a loft of 14° and a 267cc clubhead.

Let’s sum up what that means:

  • Shorter Length = Easier to swing and control for better contact and accuracy
  • Extra Loft = Higher launch and longer carry
  • Smaller Clubhead = Unmatched versatility. You can even hit it off the deck!

The GX-7’s specs offer another advantage: They allow you to hit down on the ball instead of having to swing upward as you do with a conventional driver

What Does the GX-7 Promise to Do for My Game?

  • Boost your distance consistency on tee shots vs. your current driver. No more wild fluctuations from hole to hole. I
  • mprove your driving accuracy, making the fairway's center your personal domain. T
  • urn off-center hits into playable shots, cutting down on those dreaded blow-up holes. E
  • liminate the need for different swing technique between clubs. The GX-7 is designed to be hit just like an iron. E
  • nsure you keep up with (or blow past) players who can swing faster than you, raising your confidence and lowering your scores.

What Common Miss-Hits or Problems Does the GX-7 Fix?

  • Weak drives when you barely miss the sweet spot
  • Off-target tee balls into the rough, trees, water and worse
  • Ugly slices, pitiful pop-ups and humiliating worm-burners
  • Wild variations in distance from one hole to the next
  • Good swings that produce bad (and baffling) results
FAQ

FAQs

Q: If I switch from my driver to the GX-7, will I lose distance?

A: Logic tells you that with its higher loft, smaller clubhead and shorter shaft, the GX-7 isn’t built for long-drive competitions. True. The GX-7’s design, which features extreme perimeter weighting and a hot stainless steel face, is much more forgiving when you fail to connect with the sweet spot, so better distance and accuracy on miss-hits. And if you’re like most amateurs, this happens fairly often. Which means on average, you end up in the fairway and get more yardage with the GX-7 than with your traditional driver.

Q: How do I know if a GX-7 will benefit me?

A: The GX-7 will be a much more accurate replacement for your driver if:

  • Your typical swing speed is under 100 MPH (the norm for most weekend golfers)
  • Your average less than 250 yards off the tee
  • You can’t shake a nagging slice, no matter what you’ve tried
  • You have a tendency to miss tight fairways

Q: Which shaft flex is right for me?

A: Choose your shaft flex based on your current clubhead speed and/or driving distance. Here's a helpful breakdown:

Stiff Flex: Clubhead Speed of 90+ MPH or Driving Distance of 250+ yards

Regular Flex: Clubhead Speed of 80-90 MPH or Driving Distance of 200-240 yards

Senior Flex: Clubhead Speed of 70-80 MPH or Driving Distance of 175-200 yards

Senior Plus Flex: Clubhead Speed of < 70 MPH or Driving Distance of < 175 yards

Ladies Flex: Same as Senior Plus (features 1/2 inch shorter shaft)

Q: Is the GX-7 legal?

A: Yes, indeed. It conforms to the rules of golf and is legal for tournament play.

Drives straight and longish off tee. Maybe 85-90% driver distance but usually close to where you want the ball and not in deep rough. Haven’t had much success off the deck. This is a credible driver replacement.

Every time I struck a golf ball with the GX-7 it felt like I was hitting a rock. Absolutely no solid feel to the club. It is so light weight it throws your timing way off. It is the poorest excuse for a golf club I ever hit. I got it for a bargain price of $170 dollars. What a piece of junk. I have a 15 year old Cobra driver that produces far more quality. Very, very, very disappointed. I guess I have ended up with a $170 tomato stake for my garden.

First couple of holes was a little off trying to adjust to club. I raised tee slightly to make contact with with ball center slightly above center line of club face snd away i went. 3 birdies in a round, very accurate drives way longer than i could hit with a driver! Could not be happier. I realize this club isnt for everyone, however if your like me, 6 ft. 255 and have trouble with the swing required for consistent driver shots than this is the answer! I am not paid for this, not asked to do this or anything else. Buy it and try it! It worked for me!!

The GX 7 metal does not replace the driver. My wife is a high handicap golfer and has hit an offset driver. She was not comfortable with the GX 7 as it did not go as far as her old driver. She hits left handed and the GX 7 is suppose to go straight but she was hitting a lot of balls to the left . If you're used to an offset club this GX 7 might not be for you.

I didn't like the fact that they sent me a left handed club. I'm right handed. My golf game is bad enough without trying to learn to hit a golf ball southpaw. Dear God, I can't even imagine what that would be like. I'd have to buy a bigger golf bag to carry more golf balls to replace the ones that went into the forest. My slice would become a hook and visa versa. The ground squirrels would be diving for their burrows. The ducks on the water hazards would be wearing hard hats. It would be ugly. Other than that I bet its a great club.

I bought this club to help with my slice, and I still slice the ball more often than not. Don't buy a club hoping to fix your swing. Get a lesson it will help far more than any club. Overall the quality of the club is fine. Just remember it's not the wand, it's the wizard.

I do not have a powerful swing like many of the women in my club however this club gives me just a little more distance to become competitive with people just above my handicap as many times (not all) the little bit of extra distance - say 10 to 15 yards - can get me on the green with one less stroke then I used to. I recommend it for any slow swing and little weaker player that is looking to get a little more distance. I'm still learning the correct way to hit it and have not found the best t spot but have just viewed the u-tube video that was sent by autopilot (wished I had viewed it sooner) and recommend watching that. I will try their suggestions to see if I can squeeze a little more distance out of it. One thing I notice is that I must remember to swing a little harder at impact in order to get that extra distance.

This is a good club for someone with low clubhead speed. I bought this club. Stiff flex. My swing speed is 100 mph. Ball speeds are usually around one 155 mph. This club just felt way too flimsy for me. However I gave it to my wife and she is absolutely ripping this thing down the fairway. Went for not being able to hit a drive to. Wow. I would say slower clubhead speed’s this club works really good.

I have always had a problem hitting my driver, so I usually hit a four wood off the tee. I wanted a club with a bit larger head but with a shorter shaft. I didn't expect too much, but I have been pleasntly surprised. Even on miss hits I keep the ball in play, and I usually hit the tee shots pretty straight and with about the same distance as my old driver, which I was very inconsistent.I think this is a great club and a heck of a value for the price. I highly recommend it to anyone who has trouble hitting consistently off the tee. I have used it on fairway shots when the ball is on a good lie.
