They do not stay on and size or type of valve stem. The spring is just too weak. So they are pretty much worthless.

These air chucks lock on so you don't have to hold them to the valve stem. These clips break really easily so you have to be easy with them.

Disregard my 1st review. It was bad. I have since taken the clip chuck to my tire guy to check out. He said there is an o-ring inside that, since new, may be a little stiff. You need to press down hard to get it to seat properly. I put a drop or two of silicon spray on the o-ring, pushed it on the valve stem good and now it works perfectly. No air escaping around the stem.
