These aren’t 1/4” npt. Threads are much too fine.

While these look like a quality product, and the diameter seems right for a 1/4 " brass pipe, the thread must be metric as they will not thread onto a 1/4" MIP fitting. I should have trusted the other reviewer who said they did not fit 1/4" NPT. Bottom line they don't fit a straight or tapered, male, 1/4" fitting.

I ordered these to mount exit lights from junction boxes in the ceiling. The threads are just odd enough that I was not able to find at the normal home repair stores. The craftsmanship of the nut is superb and not cheaply made or the wrong pitch size.
