Usage Details:
- The 1/4 TRS to Dual TS cable is commonly used in audio setups to insert external effects or dynamics processors into the signal chain.
- The 1/4-inch TRS (Tip/Ring/Sleeve) end of the cable connects to a mixer or other audio source that has an insert connector, while the dual 1/4-inch TS (Tip/Sleeve) ends connect to the input and output of the external device.

The microcosm is a stereo pedal, but for the input, it has a single TRS jack, so this worked perfectly.

I can’t complain about anything on this. The knock-off Neutrik connectors seem to be reasonably well made and the cable doesn’t have any scratchy solder points. Time will tell if it holds up.

I needed a cable that I could use for a Rickenbacker bass to leverage the Ric-O-Sound output. This cable does the trick. I send the bass pickup through one signal path, the treble pickup through another. No complaints!

Great stuff. I use it for stereo inserts. You can use it on mono aux sends, but will need two channels for you return. TBH I route stereo instruments directly to stereo effects. If I use mono instruments I use mono aux out with a mono splitter and return to a stereo channel.

I bought four of these assemblies, and here's what I found. The connectors are fairly good but the wire braiding for ground isn't all that exceptional. The split conductor wire is fairly large gauge and withstands some force. But, the cable jacket is very smelly and outgases heavily. Not certain why. The wire isn't a MOGAMI quality or CANARE quality and I wouldn't rate these as "Studio Quality" equipment, but I would say that they are satisfactory for average use after running two tests (1) a non-destructive test, and; (b) a destructive test - on one cable. I wouldn't use it for a critical application though.

Sound quality is good, the whole thing works well, but careful, I haven’t broken mine, but have seen a friend break his, easily, the plastic housing is a weak point, so don’t jerk out of the socket, or place it somewhere it could be stepped on, but for the price not bad.

As you can see by the image, I use a lot of cabling and these have been a great addition to the studio.Solid built, reliable and I never have to worry about them failing. Most people do not realize what a quality cable means to them until they have a cheaper cable fail when it matters most.Highly recommend.
