Worked great on glacial Granite boulders deposited on the Rhode Island coast. Now I can work these pieces into a proper dry laid wall, rather than excavator placed boulder walls so typical today. It’s also a benefit to have more feather and wedges than not enough.

I had a huge boulder that was about four feet long by three feet in the shape of a bun in the way for me to build a front step form. The rock is black granite and needed to go. I was very impressed how easy these wedge and feathers break rock. The holes are what takes the time, the wedges split the rock in less than two minutes of hammering them. First time ever splitting rock like this and was surprised how easy it is. The drill I am using is a Bosch SDS. So far I have removed about 700 pounds of rock and that was in an hour and a half.
