This is a nice set of locknuts that will come in handy. The nuts are in a nice, well labeled case that keeps them all separated and tells you the size. The finish does appear to be SS, but time will tell on how good the steel is.

Nuts and bolts are always in demand if you do any sort of mechanical work. This is a good combination of SS lock nuts and non-lock nuts. If you need a set of metric nuts to have on hand for those just in case times, this is a pretty good set.It's not for volume work, it is for those times you just happen to need one or two of a specific size. Don't think project work, think more along the lines of, "damn, I just dropped that 3mm nut into the long grass and need a replacement". Arguably, this is the more important of the two. Project work is a planned affair...This set gives you a good combination for just those times.

I'm a retired electronics technician. I've built an electronics bench to design, build and test all things electric/electronic. Over the past 40 years, I have also built a combination woodshop/ machine shop in the basement. So I'm constantly either building things or fixing them. More and more of my projects now involve metric hardware. I don't usually use locking nuts for everything, but once in a while, for something that vibrates for example, locknuts give me more of a peace of mind. For only $17 this is an economical and useful addition to your workbench.

This is a nice variety to have on hand. Unfortunately the box they came in arrived broken (the bottom was smashed) and a lot of the nuts were mixed together. There seem to be a lot of the tiny nuts that won't get used much and not very many of the popular ones, such as the M6. Overall though it's a decent set to have on hand since I always seem to have plenty of standard nuts and never enough metric nuts.

This is a really good assortment and quantity on the smaller sizes, but to be clear, there are only a few each of the big ones. I didn't upload any pictures because they would not add anything. If you need metric nuts, especially a lot of the smaller sizes, you won't be disappointed.

I got this to have an assortment of metric locknuts, which is something my shop is missing at the moment. The kit arrived fine, and wasn't super mixed up or anything which is always nice to see. The locknuts work well, and there are other non-lock normal metric ones in the kit too. Only thing of note is the larger sizes don't give you very many, which for me is fine as I am rarely using anything bigger then M5.
