It does a great job of protecting car doors from dings and scratches, especially in tight parking spaces. The material feels sturdy and holds up well, but installation takes a little patience to get it lined up just right. Once in place, it stays secure and blends in nicely without being too noticeable. A solid choice for added protection!

I must admit that I ordered these Ridroid car door protector stickers, believing they were more like the film door protectors that I had used in the past. The Ridroid protectors are more like a clear domed sticker at 3/64" thick than a thin film. No installation instructions come with the stickers. Unlike film protectors that must be applied with a soapy solution for positioning, then squeegeed out, these Ridroid stickers are better applied to a clear, dry surface using a hair dryer to help mold each sticker to the contours of the car body. I found they can be peeled loose and reapplied if necessary without damaging the sticker. Before installation, I cut the stickers apart. I wore nitrile gloves to avoid getting fingerprints on the underside adhesive of the stickers. I then removed the backing from each sticker immediately before applying. I left the clear packaging film over each sticker to help with positioning while avoiding touching the adhesive on the back side of the sticker. I applied pressure to the center of each sticker during application, heating the sticker with the hair dryer while pressing toward the edge of each sticker to remove bubbles. I am pleased with the results, even though I applied these stickers in an unheated garage during winter with a 35 deg F ambient temperature. While some minor air pockets remain in places, my past experience has been that these will disappear in time. I like these Ridroid protector stickers better than the clear film protectors I have used before. The Ridroid protectors look great, and they are a great value. Highly recommend!
