Definitely check it out when you first get it. Mine had the recessed plate bit of a bend in it. I had to straighten that out and also the punches will more than likely have to be sharpened. I do mine on 400 to 600 grit belt and that works out pretty good.

Good working and learning quality. Get them all at a good price, when you need something later, just check the drawer a bit longer. That saves time and money in the long run, plus you learn faster.

I've used this set of punches and setters for many different things. Mostly to adjust belt buckle holes, shoe buckle holes, and set snaps.Works like a charm. Recommended using a self healing mat and piece of cardboard under work.
