Q: Can this water heater be used in above ground swimming pools?
A: Of course, also great for inflatable pools, plastic and wooden containers or tub. It can be used for some mini portable swimming pools(Also Inflatable pool), but it is not suitable for larger swimming pools, because its power cannot achieve rapid preheating. Use two heaters at the same time will be more efficient and faster to save more time, just remember to plug the two heaters into two separate outlets on two different breakers.
Q: How to set timer? How long will this take to heat up a 5-gallon bucket of 50 degree water to at least 120 degrees? If it's 50 gallons?
A: When the temperature in summer is 88 degrees F, it takes less than ten minutes. When the temperature in winter is 50 degrees F, it takes 15 to 30 minutes. It depends on the initial temperature of the water and the amount of water at that time. For example, 50 gallons of water need to be heated for 1.5 hours in summer and 3 hours in winter. Q: Safe to bathe with heater?
A: NO! You can't even touch the water after power up. if you want to test the water temperature, Please unplug the power first or only touch the outside of the container, Or use the included LCD thermometer.
Q: Does it work when plugged into an extension cord?
A: Yes, Must use a standard outlet that can carry 15A power and DO NOT SUBMERGE the extension cord or the connection to it in water!

WARNING: Do not touch water！
1. Do not touch water during use to prevent electric shock! Do not touch water！
2. Two heaters cannot be plugged into one socket, nor can they be used with other high-power appliances at the same time to avoid fire hazards.
3. The power must be disconnected before taking out the water heater.

5. Can't heat oil or other liquids except water. Nor can be disassembled and modified.

Parse using steps:
First Step
Put the heater completely immersed in water.
Second Step
Connect the power and press the [SET] button to start heating. Don't touch the water now and waiting for the water temperature to rise.
After Heating
Disconnect the power when the water heats to the desired temperature or the timer shut off auto.
Final Step
Taking out the water heater and enjoy the warm water. Lay flat and store well.

1. How to set the time for the first time:
First, long press [Set] button for 5 seconds, when red number flashes, set up the targeted time via [+] and [-] buttons, successively press [Set] button to confirm, and then the indicator light will be on, the heater will start to heating.
2. No need to reset the time next time:
The timer has memory function. When using it next time, short press [Set] to quickly start the last used setting.
3. [Set] button is also an ON/OFF switch.
You can shut off or turn on by short press [Set] button at any time.
Make sure to supervise during use.
Suggestion:
1. Heating more than 100 gallons of water will take a very long time (more than 5 hours). It great for small amount of water.
2. It is best to disconnect the power supply and let the wires cool for ten minutes after working for two hours.

This product works great. It does take a bit to warm up a tub but I do recommend it. The timer gets set by holding down the set button for 5 seconds not the plus button.

I had another immersion heater before this one. This one is leagues better. I was originally concerned because it doesn't have an integrated thermometer, but I use it to warm the same amount of water every time so by now I'm aware of the time to set it to in order to get the temp I want, and best of all it hasn't failed even after daily use for months of use.

This heats up very hot. A 5 gallon buck was hot in 15 minutes. I mean over 100 degrees. This works. Can do a full tub in 1 hour.

This product is Made in China.I tried this heater on my very small in ground pool (6500 gal). It didn’t budge the temperature - verified by thermometer. I was expecting too much from this little device, as I could see heat emanating from it, but my pool was probably too big for it. After using the heater two days in a row, the water was still cold and I noticed blackening on the receptacle prongs. (I read the directions and used the product as instructed.) **UPDATE: the seller noticed this review and contacted me offering a full refund to make the situation right. I am so grateful for this EXCELLENT customer support. Given the reasonable price, I would recommend this product for very small water heating applications. Never leave it unattended.
