Though I like these mother of pearl square tiles, they look like they have been used already.On the backs there are sticky substances that has a honeycomb pattern. To me that means it has been used already, and personally, I do not like used items unless I know it ahead of time, checked the merchandise and then agreed. I will have to do a lot of cleaning off of the sticky substance before I can use them for jewelry making.The description says: "packed in a plastic box, very convenient to carry and store", but it really was too small. The box could not be completely shut causing the corners to be a bit opened and a bowing in the middle. I had to get one of my own boxes to put these in and I will use this smaller one for something else.The three star rating was for the product being used before.

I did a tile mosaic for a doll house and these worked great. Some stuck together but otherwise it was perfect.
