Totally not satisfied part did not last one day i am a certified auto tech and these parts are junk tried to help a customer out financially ended costing me more than it was worth. Also the idle air control we purchased burnt up along with the harness had to go buy a new harness for customer. Would love a refund on these parts

Got this for rsx, the ones from autozone end up going bad every 4 months get oem if you can afford it, go this came shipped nice in a box with foam came with 2 extra gaskets. No leaks vtec works. Dont use honda bond or rtv it will wear out the gasket faster and will not seal, dont over tighten these bolts ether they will snap easily i always go a little below torque specs.

The good news is that my error code went away after I installed this item. The bad news is now I have an oil leak that I never had before. I can't get the seller to reply back to me regarding the torque rating of the three bolts. My research shows it should be around 8.6 ft lbs? Can anyone confirm this? Should I try another gasket I can't see where the seller sells those. I see there is a one star review where a person says the groove is milled too shallow where the gasket sits, which causes leaks. Any help would be appreciated before I purchase a different product.

Was as described, good buy received however do to rounded fasteners holding the original part on I haven’t swapped it out yet.

I have a 2003 Element that has sat the better part of 6 years, but now that I'm getting it drivable again, my VTEC solenoid decided it wanted to be replaced. The hardest part about the install was contorting my arms to the rear of the head (no lift, I'm a driveway mechanic) to get the plastic clips that hold the wires to the heat shield around the valve popped off of the original part. After that, it's just unplug the two connectors and remove the three mounting bolts. Got this new solenoid installed and everything works like it's supposed to. Great value here and beats grabbing a used part not knowing if it will work or not.

This was an exact fit for my 2002 CR-V with the 2.4L motor. There are three 10 mm screws that you remove, and two electrical connectors. Pretty straight forward, took about 15 minutes to do. Part seems to be an exact duplicate of the old part. Car no longer stutters at the rpm range where the Vtec kicks in. Smooth acceleration all the way up now. Priced well below what the dealer was asking. Works well, and a good value.

Needed a new Vtec solenoid for my Acura RSX Type -S and this works great and was easy to fix. Solenoid included two gaskets with screens one is a spare. Will buy it again If your honda k20/k24 engine isn't hitting Vtec at 4500rpm or 5000rpm check oil and leaks around this my issue was a broken sensor due to an engine swap. Recommend for all K-series engines.
