This is the third time I have rewired my outdoor speakers. First time was with direct burial outdoor cable (wasn't tinned and the wire turned to powder). Second time used what the seller said was marine grade cable (wasn't tinned and the wire turned to powder). So, this time I payed a little more (but still reasonable) and got "Tinned Wire". Now, "what is tinned wire you say?" Each strand of wire in the cable is coated with a very thin coating of solder. This doesn't react to the elements like copper does. You can help further by waterproofing your connections, but the tinning helps a lot. This is good quality wire and seems to be working well.

Works as expected, to split the wires to go from - to + I recommend using an exacto otherwise after 6 speakers my finger tips were getting a little spent. Otherwise wire insulation is high quality yet flexible.OFC coated is true high quality.

I'm always needing speaker wire. Decided to give this a shot since the price was right. Got it in not expecting any thing special. But I was wrong this is really nice, much nicer than expected which is refreshing. The color and jacket are nice and durable. The wire itself is true to size and ofc. Definitely gets a 💯 recommended from me.

This is really nice wire. It is actually copper, not CCA. I actually used this for rewiring the 12 volt components on my little bass boat. The insulation is nice and thick and is designed for a marine environment. I did use red and black sharpies ro color the last couple of inches to insure I didn't get the polarity backwards.

This is really nice speaker wire. I recently ran out of my last spool of wire which was CCA (copper coated aluminum), and this wire is much better. It's easier to work with, and crimps better. The insulation is good quality. It flexes very easily and doesn't fight back trying to straighten out. The tinned wire is supposed to reduce corrosion, but I have yet to use it in an application that would test that out.I find the insulation to be slightly more difficult to work with that most wire I have used. The flexibility of it makes it so I can't separate the to conductors with just my fingernails, I have to clip the middle first to get it started, then I can pull them apart. Using auto-strippers, sometimes the insulation won't strip easily, this is again due to the flexibility of the insulation.I would definitely get this wire again, even with the slight insulation difficulties. It's easily worth the extra cost over CCA wire.

I bought this marine speaker wire to set up a sound system in my sunroom which is subject to higher humidity levels so I wanted to make sure that the wires didn't corrode. I weighed the role and the 100 ft of wire weighs almost 3 lb so it's very heavy duty and well constructed. There's a huge difference between very thin speaker wire and thicker heavier gauge speaker wire in terms of conductivity and quality of sound so I wanted a good quality speaker wire for my sunroom that also wouldn't corrode. This will fill the bill very nicely. The one thing I don't like about it is the blue color which I knew it was going to be when I ordered it but this speaker wire only comes in blue and red. It would be nice if they offered it in a brown or a copper color so it's less obtrusive and less noticeable when you run the wires.

I used this wire while building my outdoor patio, and it worked so well I decided to add more speakers to my setup. Coating is very well made and doesn't pinch, sound quality and carry strength is what you would get from any higher cost name brand. Easy to strip and connect.
