How to use the big eye needles

I’d love to give a review of this product but there was nothing in the container. All the needles fell out and container was dented.

What a great idea. I love to dabble about with beads, I'm not great at it but it's fun. I can't believe how much easier it is with these little beading needles.They're really easy to thread (once I realized they pulled apart). They seem really well constructed, I think they'll last a long time. I made a couple of bracelets in a fraction of the time it would normally take me.I appreciate that there are a few lengths of needles in here as well, very versatile.Probably won't need to buy again, but I would definitely recommend these!

It looks like the tips of these needles were cut straight across with scissors, there’s absolutely no tip or point to these at all. I wanted to use these needles to stitch beads onto fabric but they will not go through any fabric at all because they have no tip to them.I tried with a few of them to go through thin fabric but they start to bend, and when I finally pushed hard enough to go through, it ripped and frayed the fabric (not to mention took me way to long), again because I’m pushing a bluntly cut piece of metal through fabric, not an actual needle. These should be advertised as bead threaders, not needles, needles have a pointed tip. The only thing you could use these for is to slide beads onto a thread, or use them for knitting/ crochet projects involving thicker threads where a tip to the “needle” doesn’t actually matter.Anything related to stitching, sewing, fabrics, embroidery, etc. forget it because these will not work, they will not go “through” anything.

I was really looking forward to this ase but it comes with no lid. I do not recommend this. I just got the bottom so I still have no case for my neddles.

The longer size needles for too long for the tin. The lid had been shoved over the ends of the needles and the needles are bent. Since the longer needles were the ones I wanted most I will probably return this. Also looks like they sent me a used product. The shipping packaging was intact but the product packaging was open when it arrived.

This is a great little pack, you might not have thought of when starting a jewelry making hobby. I previously used other needles that were extremely thin, too bendable and would break at the ends. These have been such a joy to work with. The set comes in a nice metal case, which definitely helps keep all of your pieces in one place. The material feels sturdy but flexible, and the ends are closed far enough up that I am not concerned about breakage. Using the needle is quite simple, and can be done differently depending on your materials. For a standard friendship bracelet with small seed beads, I load the beads onto the needle then push the thread through one end. It genuinely cuts the time in I would say a quarter of the time, depending on the complexity!

I normally buy big eye needles in a package of 4 which comes on a paper card, wrapped in cellophane. I never knew that these needles could come in different sizes!I was very pleased to find these needles. There are 16 needles in 4 different sizes. As an unexpected bonus, the needles come in a metal holder which slides open to access the needles. The only issue with this is that the longest needles are slightly too long to fit in this container (see attached picture) so the container won't close completely. As a result, I lost a needle the first time I tried to open it when the needles unexpectedly fell out. I will solve this problem by finding a different container to store the longest needles in.Overall, the needles will be very useful. The big eye means that they're extremely easy to thread and can be used with some heavier threads that are too fat to fit through a normal needle eye. I really like the idea of having multiple lengths to choose from.

I would expect there to be a cushion inside the tin for the needles, or something to keep them in place, however there is nothing, so please be careful whenever you open the tin. Mine arrived wet, and kind of soapy! What happened to these that they needed to be soap washed? They arrived with other items that were NOT wet, so what gives? All that aside, the needles are not broken, and they function as intended. Just besides the wet thing and the lack of cushion I feel that quality and customer satisfaction were not priorities.
