  • Notice！！！If "F" appears on the monitor, it may be that your wiring is wrong. Wiring errors cannot be solved by resetting them. If you are not sure that the wiring is correct, please contact me.
  • Function——Detects the current gear faster than other gear indicators that use speedometer/tachometer signal.
  • Install——Find the 4-pole diagnostic connector (also called as KDS) under the seat, near the ECU module (Black, Grey, or semi-transparent plug).Normally it has a removable semi-transparent cap or ?dummy? plug (without wires) attached to it. The connector may be partially covered by black tape.Detach the cover (cap) from the plug and connect the GFYSHIP plug.
  • Note——You may find TWO of this connector on your bike. In this case, try both connectors, but only one of them will supply data to the GFY-K01. It will not harm your bike if you connect the GFY-K01 to the wrong plug first.
  • Design——Indicates current gear from 1 to max of 6. as well as a neutral indicator.

Connect to the vehicle's plug and install the red cable on the positive pole of the power supply. When the indicator shows L, you can start learning.

When the indicator shows L/1

Please shift to 1st gear and release the clutch, accelerate and maintain the vehicle speed. The display will flash quickly and memorize

When the indicator shows ‘2’, shift to 2nd gear and release the clutch, repeat the second step until all 6 gears are configured.

  • Resetting

Cut off the power of the unit 6 times in a row,while the display is counting up and shows3 ,4 or 5. You can power on/off the display by turning the ignition key on/off.On the next power up,the display will count backwards(6 to 1). The memory is clear now and you can perform the Setup procedure.

Easy install on my 2016 ninja 650 if you with watching a YouTube video. Readable with all lights. The display is delayed a little after the gear change but accurate and functions as it should for the value of it. It was nice to have when I was learning to ride.
