I got two of these for a party to use as cheese and pate platters, hoping they'd be similar to the slate platter I already had.This was indeed similar to the one I already had, and proved just as sturdy, and just as easy to clean afterwards. The included wax crayons made it easy to write the name of each cheese or pate next to the product and that was a nice improvement.After the party, I was able to easily clean up using soap and warm water in the sink with a simple sponge. I didn't put them in the dishwasher because I was concerned the little rubber feet would come off if I did that.

I really like this board. I bought it to sit next to my stove on the countertop. It replaces a glass board of the same size. I was always afraid to set anything on the glass board, fearing it would break. I have less fears of that with this one. Stone is harder to break than glass.I also have cats who sneak up onto the countertops when they're not supposed to! My glass top stove is covered in cat footprints across the front, apparently an overnight cat highway!! I decided to get slate because it has a matte finish and won't show cat footprints. I can also set hot pans on it without worrying about anything, which was one of the reasons I purchased it. I looked at Granite, but it was twice the price, and it would show cat prints. I really like the mat finish.My only complaint is that the rubber feet do not hold it in place on my countertop. It slides very easily which I do NOT like. So I purchased some silicone feet that were very sticky, and I simply stuck them over the top of the rubber feet. Now the board doesn't move at all!! It actually gives it a little more height so it's easier to pick up.It arrived extremely well packaged!! I could tell that great care was taken by the company to prevent breakage during shipment. It arrived to me in perfect condition! I'm hoping to get many years of use out of this board! I'm 64 years old, so hopefully for the rest of my life. Lol!!My only suggestion to the company, is to trash the rubber feet on the bottom, and replace them with silicone!!

Size just like it is described. Not so thick but is good board. Looks cool as stone board. But edge so sharp, I been cut few time. Marker is hard to clean up after write on it.

This looks so great! It'll be a nice addition to the other slate pieces I have for a charcuterie display at a wedding reception. I wanted slate because it's naturally cool to the touch so I'm hoping it'll help keep the cooler items cool for longer. Nice sleek design with "rustic" edging. Slate breaks easily so be very careful with it and I think it'll last for a long time!

This is a totally unique and beautiful cutting/charcuterie board! I keep it on my kitchen counter with a small cake stand filled with sweets and small plates, almost like a tray. The chalk it comes with is thin - easy to write on the board, and there’s plenty of it. Highly recommend!

This is a very well-made cheese board, it's heavy and of great quality. It upgrades my cheeseboard spread by a thousand.

This is a great plate to use as a basking platform for those with bearded dragons. It sits and gives my bearded dragon a nice spot to absorbed heat above and below and doesn't take up too much space in his enclosure.
