Char broil did not have my grills units in stock, so I searched their part numbers for the second time on Amazon and bought this kit. Was initially disappointed when it arrived and it wasnt brand name...but...This kit worked amazing. After a few days of use, it hasn't warped and even better, the grill has no more hot spots. The emitters haven't warped, the actual grill surface is doing amazing after about a week. Will buy again when needed.

good quality product. nice heavyweight. Should last quite awhile if I take care of them. Product did not sit flush in the grill . probably like 5 or 6 mm too wide... but definitely useable.

The dimensions of the grill are correct, but of course the grates need to be slightly smaller to fit comfortably inside. In English, we might call this "margin." The grates they are intended to replace are indeed slightly smaller. Also the edges of the grates they are intended to replace have one more bend in them--making the edges horizontal and flat instead of at an angle.In spite of this lack of fit and finish, I am still using the grates. I was able to wedge them in the grill, although the result is they are not quite level with each other, making a seam down the middle of my grill.I also soaked the old grates in easy-off oven cleaner for a day or two before spraying them with pressurized water (Watch out! That cleaner is straight lye, an alkaline that burns when it splashes on your skin--don't ask me how I know.)I always end up with dirty emitter grates from the meat juices and spices I use. I'm glad to have a second set of grates, even if they don't fit perfectly. If I had a metal shop, I'd grind them down to fit better. Hmm, my son has a bench grinder.....
