My OEM coolant overflow tank exploded but thankfully I had this one and got it switched out asap. It fit perfectly and works great. No leaks after 6 months. Comes with all parts needed for the overflow reservoir.

I got this to replace a failed OEM one in my 2002 325ci.Time and heat cycles make them brittle and the OEM one decided to split in dramatic fashion while idling in a drive-through parking lot.I initially purchased a Dorman replacement tank, but it leaked too, so I decided to give this one a shot.Side by side the Dorman seems to be a much nicer finish. With this one I had to actually clean up the lower main port as it had some flash. Kinda careless on the manufacturer's part, considering how precise the fitment must be between the tank and radiator to not leak.Like all of these tanks, it was a pain to get it to fully seat, but I'll blame that more on BMW than on this manufacturer, as in my opinion it's a dumb, problematic design.Time will tell how well this thing holds up, but so far so good.Will update if and when it fails.
