It is quite a bit of work to replace this switch assembly but this one had good reviews so figured I would give it a try. It blows fuses, the key does not turn the switch without some jiggling and the kill switch part does not work.Recommend OEM.

So frustrated!!!It stopped with spring return action when the boat started, then the boat died and then nothing. Once we paddled 2 miles to the dock, we found blown fuse on the ignition circuit. The switch should spring back automatically once the engine starts, but nothing. Got home and put in an extra ignition switch, replaced 10amp fuse, boat started first try. And this one you can feel the spring action. I’ll go thru the hassle on Monday to see if it’s under warranty @&$!??

The old ignition switch was removed and the new one is identical, but there’s no diagram showing which wires go to which terminal.
