I often see people complain that their PTC (push-to-connect) air ride fittings are leaking, but it usually turns out that they are using cheap, inferior, non-DOT fittings. Of course they're going to leak! Getting quality DOT fittings such as these from Viair ensure that you won't have such problems. Actual DOT fittings have the acronym "DOT" cast or molded into them, and you can also tell by the integrated hose inserts/collets. I've never had a DOT fitting leak, and I've had air ride on multiple vehicles since the early '90s! Do yourself a favor and avoid any headache by spending a little bit more $$$ and buying DOT fittings from the start!

So I purchased a package of these fittings and not one of them lasted more than a few days. They were used on my airbag system on my truck and no matter where they sat they separated at the swivel joint. the plastic one i picked up at a small shop in town has been working flawlessly.
