The rubber is very good quality, but the glue won't stick to painted metal. I have specifically cleaned the surface beforehand with strong chemicals, but literally 0 adhesion. Used my own adhesive cement to bond it.

The product was exactly what I was looking for. Rubber seems solid and durable. The utility knife that comes with it is junk and useless...I ended up using heavy duty scissors to cut it. The self adhesive backing is absolutely terrible, I don't think it would stick to a piece of paper. I ended up using an adhesive calk to make the rubber sheet stick to my project.

We recently painted the exterior of our house and were going to replace the lighting. New light fixtures were so expensive!!! We decided to paint our old ones instead. We have textured stucco which causes little gaps between the light fixture and the wall. It is a perfect place for rain to get into the back of the fixture. I used this product to create a gasket a 1/8th inch bigger than our lights. Our lights are black, so the gasket isn't noticeable and the water seal is excellent. It will also help to keep a tight seal so spiders don't get behind the light and nest.

I wasn't relying on the adhesive, so it's dried out condition didn't matter, so only deducted one star. The neoprene is relatively low durometer (soft), which helps for acoustics and vibration damping.

The rubber is nice and sturdy however if you get this thinking the pre applied adhesive is going to work don't buy this product. The pre applied adhesive is old and hardened like plastic. The rubber is also rolled up so it's very difficult to get it to lay flat.

The rubber is fine, the adhesive is not. Was planning to use under my pressure washer on a stainless 1'x2' shelf. The adhesive was all dried out so even the paper you peel off it, was falling off. Returned.

First, they came rolled and seem to have been that way for YEARS, won't flatten out.Second, the adhesive is soooooo old even the protective backing won't stick to it.These must be stored in some warehouse without air-conditioning.I needed to use them for a time sensitive project and had to use a heart gun to soften then to get flat and buy additional adhesive to make them stay in place.VERY UNHAPPY, THEY'RE HORRIBLE
