For the price, this DJ light is a fantastic deal! It’s incredibly bright, with vivid, vibrant colors. It offers a variety of built-in color modes and features DMX control, allowing you to connect it to a DMX controller and sync it with other DMX-compatible lights—essential for professional shows. The light is well-built, made of sturdy plastic, and you can feel its weight. Overall, it’s a great option for the cost!

Super bright and easy to get up and running, even without DMX. The manual makes sense and was fairly easy to follow. I have a lot of other lights that aren't DMX, so I'll mostly be using this on sound sensing mode – which works great. Although from time to time I will use DMX, so it's nice to have. Construction is high quality and sturdy; I expect quite a few years of service.

I don’t even use this in a typical setting but just have it on my floor providing a colorful wall wash up one of the walls in my condo. Out of the box this light is fully assembled and ready to go. If you don’t have a DMX controller, you’ll need to read the manual and toggle through the commands to set it for what you’d like. I just use it to project a colorful wash up one of my white walls at night. The light is extremely bright and will provide as much light as you could need for a smaller residential application. With a few button presses you can also set it to rotate through the various colors or to statically shine in any of the standard colors programmed. Just be aware that like all high output lights of this type there is a cooling fan and so the light isn’t totally silent. It isn’t bothersome to me but you’ll definitely hear it.

This is a serious but still consumer friendly light! For the basics there's a simple menu on the back that offers fairly full control over all its feature. But you can also run this by leaving it on a DMX setting and controlling it that way. Tested that with an RS-485 dongle and a pyserial script something roughly like:```ser = Serial(port, 250000, stopbits=STOPBITS_TWO)while True: ser.send_break(0.001) ser.write(b'0') ser.write( bytearray([r, g, b, w]) )```and it works great! Kids are having fun programming their own control sequences for it.
