This torch works well. Huge flame!! High output. Had to learn how to properly fill the torch with fuel, because when I filled it the first time, the flame would sputter or belch in large bursts, then I let some gas out and it was better- but I let out too much and it wouldn't last long(b/c I let the fuel out) so, learned on YouTube that I was overfilling my torches and they would not work well or properly. 2-3 seconds is about the time it takes to fill this torch, it has worked well since.

I love this thing, I have been using it for about 2 weeks and it has a small flame (2 inches) and a large flame (8 inches). It gives you a wide range of things you can use this for. I dont have to refill it as often as I thought I would even on high. Its big enough so you dont lose it, but the one thing that I have done twice to date is I lit it backwards on high, cause both ends are similar in size and the lockout can be switched to the off position now all you have to do is push the button to start it . If you could not do this it would force you to orientate it to the correct position to start since you would have to unlock it. I now lock it when done so I have unlock it to use it. Good product thou!

I love this lighter because it is a great size for starting a campfire in a hurry. It is easy to fill with butane, just hold upright and insert in the bottom and push. With it being so large it is easy to hold on to. I have the flame adjusted really low but it can be made to be very long. I dial mine down and conserve fuel. This is a good household lighter that has many applications. Great for smoking my pipe too! The lighter has a big tank and can go for a good while between fill-ups. A great lighter that is worth the money!

I like the look of this lighter and the weight of it is rather hefty. It makes it seem more like an actual tool. There is a knob on the side to adjust the flame. The flame gets rather long and has an extremely high temperature. The lock works to keep the button from being pressed if set before pressing the button and locks the flame if set after the button has been depressed. I had no issue filling the lighter with butane. One of the first things my son pointed out was that it looks like the hilt of a lightsaber from Star Wars.I do not do Creme Brule or sear meat with a torch. I have no doubt it would work in that capacity though. I do, however, set fires in a charcoal grill and in the fire pit and this torch excels at both. I am very pleased with this item and have no doubt that it will last a long while, much longer than the BBQ lighters we normally run through!My only complaint would be the lack of a window to see how much fuel is in the torch. I knocked one star for this. For those who use it for cooking I feel this would be an important feature to have.

I've given up my normal lighter and camping lighters for this bad boy. It's a bit large and yes even on low the flame is a bit overkill for birthday candles but guess who uses it anyhow?It's been very reliable, wind does nothing to this torch and the adjustment is broad enough to be ABLE to light small candles to even searing while cooking.I personally love the fact that it looks and feels so much like a Light Saber from a Star Wars film as well.Just one of those little touches that tickles my childlike mind.Really though, this has proven to be reliable, holds a good amount of fuel and uses it well.If this DOES eventually quit working I'll most likely be back for another.
