Fits exactly. Simple fix for the rattling baffle noise. If your actuator doesn't line up, turn it one gear tooth, like 15 degrees. The actuator appears to have spun off gear when the clip fell out.

The nefarious rattling when starting the car I couldn't handle... ordered this and it came the next day.. after watching a few videos to make sure you've got the orientation right. It slipped right in... no more rattling.... took roughly 30 min to install. I'm sure it would be faster if you are a mechanic.

Perfect fit for my 2016 bmw 228. A little tight to get ratchet to all 3 bolts.. but not hard to do once the bolts are loose. Save the money of a mechanic unless you don’t care. 15-20mins and your car will not sound like a can of nickels being shaken as you idle.

I did have to bend the part a little bit to get it in but the part is high quality and has fixed the problem. The installation is difficult, so beware BMW at its finest.

Very important to state what year make model your vehicle is. As the Amazon automated system indicated this part did not fit my car. But this part did in fact fit my car. Took a YT video or two, but in the end it worked and fit perfect. Enjoy the removal of the dreaded exhaust rattle from your life.
