I have a shower stool that I was basically unable to use because I had to constantly get up and down, and move the chair back and forth in order to have the water reach all parts of my body. It was easier to just skip the stool, which I should be using for safety. Because of this, I was eagerly awaiting this adjustable extension arm.I was stalking Amazon and constantly checking for its arrival. When it came, I ripped open the packaging and headed straight for the bathroom. I was happily surprised at how easy it was to hook up. I simply removed my existing handheld shower head, pulled off the old pipe tape and applied some new pipe tape (provided with the extension arm). Then I popped in the washer (provided with the extension arm), hooked that end up to my shower pipe, tightened carefully with a pair of pliers (only because I have weak hand strength), put more pipe tape on the other end, and twisted my handheld shower into place.A few adjustments to the extension arm, and I was ready to try it out. It worked perfectly! No leaks, and best of all, I could now shower safely seated on my shower chair with my handheld shower head wishing easy reach. I can now wet any part of my body without getting up. Needless to say, that first shower felt awesome! It is difficult to enjoy a shower when you are constantly in fear of falling. An added bonus is that I rent, so if I ever need to move, I can take this extension rod with me.

If you have a flat rain-style shower head, this extension arm is amazinggg! It helped me adjust the height to the perfect level, my showers so much more comfortable. Once tightened, it stays firmly in place without any issues.I’ve been using it for several weeks now, and it has held up perfectly. Even with my rain shower head and an added filter, it doesn’t bend or lose its position. The quality feels solid, and there haven’t been any leaks.Overall, I’m really happy with this find. It’s a simple but effective upgrade for anyone looking to extend or adjust their shower head without hassle.

We had a shorter extension for our shower head prior to this product. The previous one did not move the shower head high enough so I wouldn't hit my head. This new one does exactly what I needed. Now, our showered is high enough to be out of reach of my head, but it also gives us a better angle with the shower head.

I was worried that it wouldn't hold my showerhead's weight but it worked on the first try! If you need to get your showerhead away from the wall or to another height, this adjuster works well. I was able to both extend and raise without any issues. It holds up under the strain of a waterfall showerhead. Absolutely no leaks, lightweight, and looks great!It assembled in minutes, so I loved everything about it.

The water from the shower head hits me at neck level. I have a rain shower head that I want to use but I would need to be on my knees to enjoy it. I opted to a shower arm extension but could find one that bend upwards and can handle a rain shower head locally. Not even at the big box home improvement store. I saw this one and figured it would be worth a try. This is exactly what I was looking for even though it is chrome. My bathroom is brushed nickel. Anyway, installation went as expected. Took a couple of tries before there were no drippage. But that is expected since I am not plumber inclined but I get by. The arm takes a bit to get in in the right position to my liking. I am able to stand under the shower head instead of leaning downward. That is a great plus. So far so good.

Heavyweighted durable feel. The only downfall is it's a straight rod that has no articulating angle ends for either side for rod coming out of wall or shower head. I didn't think of that when I bought it so now I have to get extra parts for both ends to get the right angle. Great price of you already have what you need to make it work.
