Love these! We've been building a calm corner out for my daughter, and these are a fantastic addition. They have a variety of textures and sizes and for reasons I don't totally understand, the various textures are desirable at different emotional times. They are silicone/rubber, so they don't make a lot of noise, nor can they easily break themselves or other things if dropped or tossed. Fantastic tool!

These have a fairly satisfying shape and nesting ability to them. They have two different textures on either side of each stone. A couple of them have a smooth side as a texture too. They look stripey, fingerprinty, mazey, and bumpy. If you or someone you know is tactile like that, they might appreciate these little handheld stones.

As soon as I unpacked these, I was disappointed. While there’s no age listed that these are gear toward, there was a picture of a baby with them stacked nearby. At least two of the stones are too small for a small child - they can easily be put in their mouths.The idea is great. The various textures are great for sensory input. But it should be clearly noted on the listing that they’re too small for babies/toddlers.
