I thought the other reviews about it not fitting may have been wrong. No way to make this fit for 2006 Honda CRV. Don’t waste your time on 2002-2006 CRV

I bought this for my crv as I am doing a engine rebuild and mine is rusty. I bought this and thought it would work but was wrong. As many people have stated the mounting bracket does not line up and it has a different bend compared to a oem one. I went onto honda parts now and ordered a new oem for like $50 all together. ( o ring is sold separately). This item needs to be taken off of Amazon as it will not work.

Did not fit the mounting brackets were in the wrong place. Ended up damaging the part so could not return. Ended up going to Honda to purchase.

The mounting brackets are in the wrong spots. We cut and bent them to make it fit and then did a pressure test before full reassembly to find it was still leaking at the thermostat housing. Do not waste your time, order the genuine Honda part instead.

this company has ZERO quality control. unless you have a welder, pipe bender, and a ton of patience, do not waste your time and money on this thing. the brackets are welded in the wrong spots so the bolts will NOT line up when mounting and the bends are so far off that it will pop out of the thermostat housing and leak. this thing does not bend easily and will likely crack. you can get a genuine honda part that bolts right up for $56. unless you are broke or desperate, stay far away from this thing. you would think they have a simple template or jig to ensure that the thing is correct, but clearly the company does not care if it fits as long as it looks close enough in the pictures to get a sale. amazon should pull this product.

Tried this on a 2005 CRV EX. I read other reviews saying that the brackets did not line up and figured that the problem was operator error and I would not have the same problem. I tried to fit this and it looks like the bend for the elbow is a bit too much compared to OEM. I tried straightening out the elbow a little bit with a socket and bar inside the pipe and the pipe clamped in my vise. This was too stiff and would not bend at all. Then I drilled a new hole where I thought it should go for the middle mount. I also drilled out a new hole on the mount on the end. This still does not line up well. The pipe is coming out of the thermostat housing at an angle instead of straight out now, I hope the ORING holds the coolant. I was not able to get a bolt through the mount on the end by back of the engine head so that is just flopping around a bit now. I spent a couple extra hours trying to make this work and cursing myself for taking a chance with this.Very disappointed in the poor measuring and defective manufacturing. They need to fix their pipe bender and weld the brackets in the correct spot.
