Steel was thick and satin black finish is durable. Price is right too. Fit in 2nd gen Firebird and worked out great. No mods to extenders needed. Make sure vehicle floor where extenders bolt to is free of insulation so a flat surface is available for the extenders’ installation.

I'm 6'5" and all legs, so these made my Jeep Patriot much more comfortable on long drives. Easy to install and very stable. I did have to drill the main holes out a bit, but not a big deal since these aren't made for my vehicle.
