Installed almost without any problems. I didnt buy the electrical plug so i had to hunt the correct wires but works great.

The first one of these I got from Amazon had two right-side brackets, and no left-side. Logically, you need both to hold the stereo in place. After requesting a replacement, the one I got from Amazon was used, and it was cracked because the instructions say to break off these top tabs for certain vehicle models, which someone attempted, and it snapped the frame rather than the tabs, which I had to cut off with a Dremel tool; possibly the most sturdy part of the entire design is the part the instructions tell you to remove for the vehicle most people will probably buy it for.I was going on a roadtrip and expected to have the radio installed two days prior, and couldn't wait for a refund and a different stereo mount, so I just super-glued it together. Star Bond superglue is Five Stars, this piece of junk is not. In addition to the frame cracked by the previous owner, who again, I stress was almost certainly following the instructions. I also noticed that one of the tabs which allows it to snap into place was ALSO broken; more Star Bond, and it seems to be okay for now. So, I go to install it, and wouldn't you know it? It doesn't fit the oddly-downward sloping design of my 2002 F-150; this is not the first radio that has had that problem in this truck. Gee, I wonder if it will fit upside down? It does, but I can't put the stereo in upside down, because I had to super-glue the cover plate on when THAT BROKE, TOO. Again, the instructions say to snap it on there, but the tabs that hold it in place broke off instead of "snapping into place". This thing is held together with glue, and probably should have just come that way from the factory. I cannot return this since I have modified it extensively by following the instructions and repairing the damage that was done by FOLLOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS. This mount is NOT compatible with a 1997-2003 F-series truck, in spite of what the advert says. If you mount your stereo UPSIDE DOWN from how the direction indicate, it could be, but take caution since most of it will be broken by the time it is put together. Do not buy this. Do not buy anything from this brand. Don't buy anything that looks like this. Get something else.

had to cut a small area around the center console or it would not allow the console to slide back as it should, besides that it fit everywhere else really well

This dash kit installed in a few minutes on 2000 F150 and fit perfectly. Just had to cut off the two mounting tabs per the instructions and snap into place.

I had never installed a radio in a vehicle before and it was fairly painless to do. Fit perfectly in my Ford F250 dash. Very pleased with it.
