I love it when things just work, don't you?I picked this relay because it looked like it would fit my Phoenix Contact 2966016 socket and it sure does! Pins line up perfectly and the relay functions just fine. I am using it to switch 2 amps at 12 volts and no issues so far. I will update this review if that changes. While you can solder this to a breadboard, the pins for the contacts are larger than the standard holes you're going to get in perf board so you would need to drill out your PCB or better yet design a custom PCB specifically for this relay. I would recommend just sticking to a DIN rail relay socket like the one I mentioned above for simplicity.
