I picked this up to help clean up edges on 3D print, wood, and metal projects. I’ve used it with wood and 3D prints, but haven’t tried it on metal yet. The bit is nice and appears well made. I chucked it into my drill and it gets the job done as expected. It also comes in a nice little plastic case that took me a second to figure out how to open. In general it’s a little hard to control with a drill, so I may pick one up made to work with a Dremel for a bit more control. All in all the bit works as designed and is a nice addition to my tool collection.

Functions really well as a grinder for wood. It is extremely sharp and durable. I’ve used it to carve wood and shape metal with my M12 die grinder. Fits perfectly in any standard die grinder collet and the value is great considering this brand makes amazing dies.

I used this tool to remove the seam inside some steel tubing so it could be used as a sleeve for solid round bar. The burr removed the inner seam easily with no fuss.

This burr worked well for me on opening up a hole in stainless steel bar stock, but its construction may make it vulnerable to failure under some circumstances.Burrs are either made of solid carbide, or they are made of a carbide shell brazed onto a shaft. See the photo I've included. It's clear the shaft is not made of the same material as the carbide shell of this burr, the shell is thin, and the brazing extends beyond the shell and got sliced with the burr pattern during manufacture. I can't tell how far down the brazing goes, but this burr can fail if the brazing fails, if the shell cracks, or if the shaft, which probably isn't made of carbide, gives.Make your decision based on price, how well you protect yourself with safety equipment, and whether you typically have spares on hand should something go wrong while the burr is spinning at high speed.

The delivery took 4 weeks. Now it shows that an order would be delivered next day, so I won't reduce stars for that.I used a different tool for the task I was going to use this on so I don't have anything to base a test on.For any given job that necessitates grinding, several profiles can be useful. If you need to replace your straight cylindrical grinding burr, this will work for you.

I like this bit for deburring, filing, rasping, shaping, etc. This bit works with any material and appears to be made out of a strong carbide. I like the fact its useable with any rotary tool or drill. It’s a great value and easy to use.
