I removed the steering link and adjusting nut from my steering rack and removed the old boot by loosening the clamps. I tried to install the new boot, but it was too small to fit onto the steering rack. I tried quite a few times, but no luck getting it to fit onto the rack. In desperation, I heated the end of the boot with a heat gun. The boot slipped right onto the rack. I installed the clamps and reinstalled the end link and adjusting nut.I hope this helps anyone who was experiencing the trouble I had.

Rockauto boots wouldn't fit. These did the trick.
