These hooks were perfect for our needs. The most important thing is to pick the right size for your fence. Initially I chose a wrong size and they were too wide, so I returned those and got narrower ones, which turned out to be perfect.

I wanted hooks that I did not have to screw into my fence if I did not want to do.They bend when you apply pressure to fit tight onto our plastic fence (to hang our pool skimmer and hose).Turns out I needed the largest size (I had ordered 2 ambler sizes thinking they would work. Easy return as an Amazon Prime member).

Mounted on our pool fence, and they have never blown off or fallen. Paint still holds up after being outside 365 days a year.

Slips over railing easy. Unfortunately, my railing is not as wide as the hook opening an it does not grab it as well as it could. Overall, a good item.
