Purchased these casters to put on the bottom of an antique Victoria buffet, replacing the original wooden wheels that were over 130 years old. Not exactly the style for it, but wooden replacement wheels are very expensive and I wanted something that could roll easily and no fear of them breaking again.I'm very happy with casters themselves - with the balls turned backward under the buffet, you can't even see them or the fact that they don't belong on an antique. They are extremely heavy duty, have good weight and heft and obviously are metal and don't have a cheap "plasticy" feel to them.My only complaint is that the Amazon listing for them in all of the pictures show the metal caster socket inserts (the part that the caster rod is inserted in) is included with the casters - WELL THEY AREN'T. Sneakily, the seller lists down in the "Product Details" section that what's included are just the casters, despite the socket inserts being prominently displayed in almost every picture. So, expect to spend more money on getting the inserts (another $10 or so) if what you are using the casters on presently don't have them.I would have given 5 stars to the casters if the pictures used said somewhere "SOCKETS NOT INCLUDED" so the buyer knows they will need to provision those separately if needed. Buyer beware.

I had a house fire a year ago and am cleaning soot off what few pieces of furniture I could salvage. These casters are 100 times better than the ones I removed. They will handle any load, including all the dishes for a holiday dinner. I am really impressed with the quality and workmanship

I picked up a $300 double Critter Nation cage on Amazon for DIRT CHEAP, but not only are the wheels thay come with it kind of cheap but they don't roll well on carpet and one was broken. I bought these and they are PERFECT! The cage rolls BEAUTIFULLY now. These wheels are very smooth and soft, not squishy soft but will not mess up hard wood floors soft. They don't come with the little plastic stem covers so if those are needed for whatever you are using them on, keep that in mind, with a little elbow grease I was able to reuse the original pieces from the wheels that came with the cage.
