Please note that this is designed to hold exactly 72 Grams of pure gold, other metal weights will vary. Dimensions: Outer - 1" (25 mm) Dia. x 1" (25 mm) Height Inner - .660" (16 mm) Dia. x .900" (23 mm) Depth Wall Thickness .173" (5 mm). This product works great with the PRO KILN Furnaces found in our store. These crucible cups are great for the small time hobbyist who is melting small amounts of material or scrap and can be used with the PRO Kiln Propane Melting Furnace and can be handled using steel U-Tongs. Keep in mind, these crucibles will wear out over time and will need to be replaced frequently if they are repeatedly exposed to high temperatures from a torch or melting furnace.

Its smaller than it looks way smaller like a inches It kinda cute but i wont be smelting anything in there. Borax would make it overflow and don't want to chance it an loose any precious metals

I thought seeing 2oz this was the replacement for the mini quick kiln. It is the size of a thimble.I'm told 2oz gold will fit in it.Thankfully the company understood and refunded me even though it was my ignorance. After multiple requests for which item replaces the original crucible I was never answered.

Works great but wished I had ordered 6-8 ounce size. Barely works for rings ,but this was my fault ,not the product. Good response to the order .

It is exactly the same way it was described. I have bought gold testing and smelting tools from Amazon for my own use. Usually the items came with more than just an envelope and item. No instructions or warnings. Not even the material list of what I bought. Thanks.
