I needed to add USB outlets in my 25 ft travel trailer. Our couch and pantry are on a slide-out. There were no outlets near that. Our Galley sink is right next to our couch.These were easy to install. Just plan out everything ahead of time so you know where the wires will go and be sure there is room behind the mounting surface to fit & still be able to work on connecting the wires.These look great with the mounting plate provided. What is nice is that they have a soft blue light, and a on/off button right on it. You can turn it off when not needed. Perfect. I will be buying more.

Product failed after one week. Purchased for stock, when I installed a couple months later neither one worked for more than a week. Was hooked up to 24 volts.Very disappointed because it is past return date and it was money wasted. Will not recommend this product to my customers.

I built power boxes for my apartment here in Houston to use during power outages. Under load testing this provided the full 18w per port for an hour with minimal heating in the box.It would cut off around 9 volts, but worked great up to 30 volts, close to the charging voltage on a lipo4 24 volt battery. Cost effective and efficient.Hurricane Beryl hit us, and I ran off this for 8 days. This ran a USB swamp cooler and USB camping light.Many different creative uses.

I purchased these to install in a couple places in my travel trailer so I didn't have to use up outlet space to charge certain things and was able to run these directly from battery power. They work great. The most important selling point for me was the on and off button option. I had one similar to these that did not have that feature. Therefore, the item is always on. Even though these draw very little power unless you have a trickle charger constantly charging the battery if you're away for long enough it can weaken the battery. Being able to turn these off when not in use eliminates that worry. The install was pretty easy I just had to drill a couple holes and run a bit of wire. These would also be a great addition in a vehicle for those who have a cigarette lighter but never uses it. These fit in that whole and wires the same. You can just pop out the cigarette lighter and pop these in if you wanted to. It's a bit more involved then that if course but nonetheless they are definitely worth the buy.
