I installed under-sink water heaters so I get hot water quickly. Every 6 months, I inspect the anodes. These anodes last about 12 months in the bathrooms. The one in the kitchen, which is the most heavily used due to the kitchen sink (dish washing) and the dishwasher being connected to it, don't last quite as long, but I expect that.Overall, these are a direct replacement of the OEM anode. I have purchased these several times and will continue to do so since they work well and last, even under heavy use.

The Bosch mini-heater kicked out in ~7mos. I discovered it was because of this device. Given that it would likely be needed to be replaced; Bosch should have made it easier ...and provided advance warning and instructions?! Jim/Maryland
