This is the only way I got my bird to start on cuttle bone abd start trimming back her beak, because it's softer than other cuttle one, has a fun, softer texture , and it's spelled within the context of a toy to motivate and give them a reason to interact with it . I'll be buying more. The metal on it is very cheap it looks like a little thicker than artistic wire and made of aluminum. I had to take the bill off on the bottom because it's the type of bell that a bird can get its beak or claws stuck in but I still highly recommend it, especially for those with a bird who doesn't understand cuddle bone and mineral blocks. They need these things to trim back their beaks and I think their nails
