Drop dead simple to install. Find a stud, screw them in and mount the extinguisher.

These are pretty solid metal mounting brackets. I thought the neck was supposed to fit snugly around the neck of the fire extinguisher at first, but now I realize from looking at the pictures that it's meant to support the extinguisher at the nozzle and the handle. The metal strap that is meant to go around the body of the extinguisher is packaged flat, so you'll need to bend it around the extinguisher yourself. I didn't find it too tough, but YMMV. My dilemma now is whether to use these metal brackets or the plastic one that came with the extinguisher. The plastic one provides a more secure fit around the neck, but the metal one is more sturdy.
